Rooted in Blue Creek
Hi, I’m Sinikka
I grew up in Utah with a deep love for nature, and so much of it comes from summers at my family’s 2,000-acre wheat farm at Blue Creek in Northern Utah. Out there, surrounded by open fields and wildflowers, I found peace, joy, and simplicity. It’s still my favorite place in the world.
I’ve always helped with flowers for weddings, but my formal training began in Florida. There I learned from some of the best designers in the craft, creating arrangements for immaculate weddings, NFL events for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and The Ritz-Carlton, where I became the go-to florist for weekly arrangements.
When we moved home to Utah, I started my own studio. It began as Bumble Bee Bouquets and has grown into Blue Creek Floral, a name that reminds me of my roots, where I began, and where my love of flowers first took hold.
Today I design from my studio in Layton, specializing in weddings, dances, and events across Davis and Weber counties. Every piece is made by hand, with intention, for the people and moments it celebrates.
